Game Day and Practice Day

PRACTICE DAY

Practices are one day per week for one hour.  Each practice contains drills, scrimmaging and a devotion time for the players and cheerleaders.  Participants receive a green star for each practice to iron onto thier t-shirt worn on game days or cheerleaders for their megaphone.

Players and cheerleaders should dress in clothes ready to practice.  Save uniforms for Game Day.

You will practice at the same location one time per week for one hour.  Practices begin the week of November 26th.

GAME DAY

Game days take place at your home practice court and at other locations within the partnership.*  Arrive early for games each week to allow coaches time to prep their team and fill out lineup cards.  Each week players are introduced with music, smoke, lights or other surprises unique to each location.  Halftime will include parents in quick games of skill while players get time in the locker room with the coach or players remain on the court to participate in a message for that game day.

*Please note 7th and 8th Grade games will take place within both zones of the partnership as well as with other local Upward leagues in Hamilton, Fairfield and Maineville.

Games begin January 12th, 2013 and continue for nine Saturdays.
